A gamer named Ryan Lenk that goes by the nickname “Rlenk” on Twitch.tv, has just finished a 136 hour long Twitch gaming stream.
Ryan Lenk, age 22 is an enthusiast gamer who lives in Pennsylvania, USA and was aiming to break the record of the longest marathon gaming world record of 135 Hours, which is equivalent to 5 days and 15 hours. Someone had previously tried something similar, but the outcome wasn’t good as it cost him his life.
Ryan started his first stream with a audience discussion of about 8 hours 2 days ago. Subtracting that from the current time spent on the stream Ryan had already covered over 42 hours of game streaming. He played only World Of Warcraft: Mist of Pandaria throughout the duration .
At the time before the shutdown Rlenk had hit 1,613.114 views on his stream and was keeping a steady 1500 viewers at most times. Rlenk got a email from Twitch.tv about the incident.
Multiple emails back and forth from Twitch.tv got this stream reinstated. On the 5th of December he started his attempt of breaking the world record by 1 hour and told everyone on his facebook account ” See you all in 136 hours.”
Well he eventually did it, the new world marathon gaming world record is 136 HOURS!!!! What a BEAST!
Well done Rlenk and have a good rest from the HardwarePal team.
