Dickson says that new the iPad Mini 2 will have an A7 processor with the all new 64-bit architecture and 1GB of RAM. The Motion M7 processor will come with the package and will enable applications that use motion sensors to run in the background without loading the A7 CPU. Apple’s iPad Mini 2 will also have a Touch ID sensor, that will enable users to unlock their devices and shop from iTunes with just a simple fingerprint. The iPad Mini 2 will be available in 3 colors, the same colors the iPhone 5S has (space gray, gold and silver). There are no specifics about the devices display, so it is not known whether the iPad will feature a Retina high resolution display or the same one the current model uses.
