Evga GTX780Ti Kingpin Edition – No TDP Limits and Unlocked Voltage

EVGA recently teased an image of a GPU that’s been in works for a while now that features carbon fiber. The teaser was followed by another image with the name  “Kingpin” imprinted on the back of the card.

Sources claim that this card is going to be a GTX 780 Ti Kingpin Edition, which is named after a famous extreme overclocker Vince “k|ngp|n” Lucido. Vince has broken many world records in GPU performance using various solutions, and now it seems like he’s working with EVGA to bring forth a Kingpin Edition.

This Kingpin edition of the GTX 780Ti will feature no TDP limits with the help of 2x 8 pin connectors to draw power to the card , aswell as an unlocked voltage, and as mentioned in our previous Black edition GTX 780Ti article – 6GB of VRAM which is going to be essential for future games on ultra high resolutions and 4K displays.

There is no mention on when the card will be released nor at what price tag. As its got to do with Kingpin, all we can say is it will surely be worth the wait.
