HomeGamingDICE and EA Release the 15th Update For Battlefield 4 Milos M. December 9, 2013 Gaming When you see the release of the 15th patch for a game in one month, even if you haven’t played it its no brainer to conclude that Battlefield 4 has been released unfinished. A new 888 MB patch has come out today for servers and PC and addresses some of the issues that has been troubling players. However, although the fixes address stability issues, there aren’t many big improvements to the game overall (like hit detection etc). Whatever the case may be its nice to see DICE putting effort in eliminating at least some of the problems. In the light of the previous patches we hope this patch comes bug free, and will not make this game even worse. R15 Server Update Notes -Various server side crash fixes, including the top seen crashes on R14 -Activated the reservedSlotsList.aggressiveJoin command that enables VIP players and server administrators directly joining full servers -Client patch compatibility to make servers compatible with the Dec 09 client update Dec 9 PC Game Update Notes (888.53 MB) -Fixed one of the most frequently occurring client crashes -Fixed broken collision on containers with open doors. The bug previously made grenades bounce back even though the doors were open. -Fixed a bug in Defuse mode where defenders could win the round by killing all the attackers without disarming the bomb, if the bomb was disarmed in the previous round. -Miscellaneous stability fixes further reducing the number of client crashes -Fixed side gunner jitter when aiming in attack boats & transport helicopters -Fixed some instances of frame rate drops when shooting at large Levolution objects after they have been destroyed (like the radar dish on Rogue Transmission) -Fixed broken aiming for passengers on the China Rising dirt bike -Fixed a bug where the sound when capturing a flag was not playing correctly -Removed a bug that would double save during MP round transition and SP level transition. This fix will reduce the occurrence of corrupted save files. The changelog looks promising and since they have stopped working on future projects and DLC’s until the game bugs have been ironed out, giving DICE more time to work on the problems related to the game. There has been mentions of other problems being faced by some BF4 players after applying the lastest patch the game has started crashing. Matt Doesn’t do anything noticeable… Stills stutters like crazy and the netcode is still crap both of which add up to the worst online experience you can imagine. Izzy Ardito Stutters??? Matt Stutters. Get out of here because I know a majority of PC gamer do. William Harvey I only had stutters in beta when I was on Win7. Win 8/8.1 fixed that. Matt There are people who stutter on Win8 and there are also people who don’t stutter on Win 7. I can only guess it has more to do with hardware configurations. Izzy Ardito I had the issue when the game first came out. I have a free copy of Win 8 Pro from school so I went ahead and update from Win 7 Ultimate. I’m now running Win 8.1 Pro and having no stutter issues. When the game first came out i did. I guess updating drivers and OS (maybe that fixed it) corrected it. I’m running I7 875K OC @ 4.2, Sapphire 5970 2Gig, 16 gigs of Corsair Dominator @ 1600, and 240 Gig Corsair GT SSD. Running the game on Medium settings @ 1080p (getting around 100fps no lag). The 2 issues I still keep getting is the stupid sound loop bug and random game crashes. We Thezenclan Atleast Dice cares about there game unlike activision KuchikiSentou 15 updates lolmadbro They need to fix the UAC and SUAV abuse… Shit is getting ridiculous.
